Lidia Michel, Psy.D.

As a therapist, I strive to help both children and adults live in the moment, approach their fears, and learn to tolerate life’s challenges. While my approach is relational and play-based, it’s also practical. I want to help you not only feel better and think about yourself differently, but help you do the things that will create lasting changes. If I’ve done my job well, you won’t see me for very long, and you’ll return whenever you need to. One of the joys of my career is to see my clients grow up and change, and come back to treatment when they need it. We’ll be here for you.

Dr. Michel is a Bilingual Licensed Clinical Psychologist (in the state of California and Illinois) whose areas of expertise include infant mental health, maternal and perinatal mental health, the treatment of children and adolescents, family therapy, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, trauma stewardship, play therapy, multicultural competence, psychological assessment, and the supervision of psychologists. She has also been featured as a guest on the podcast, Behavioral Health Today, on the topic of Trauma Stewardship.

 

Steven Hull

As Practice Manager, my aim is to make sure that you have a great experience from the very first time you call and every time you come to the office thereafter. My background is in community mental health, records, insurance, and billing; so I’ll be your go-to person for scheduling, records requests, and getting you started with our services.

We will gather your availability, confirm insurance information, and offer a 15-minute consultation to see if we’re the right fit for you. We accept insurance and out-of-pocket payment.
